Portland is an American crime drama television series set and produced in and around Portland, Oregon. Created and primarily written by Chris Jones, the series was broadcast by CBS in the United States. It is animated primarily at Rough Draft Studios.
The series debuted on January 24, 2004. The series has about 10 seasons aired. Recently, CBS have renewed the show for a eleventh season, set to air on September 22, 2014.
In 2013, TV Guide ranked Portland as one of the top 60 Greatest TV Cartoons of All Time.

Portland is produced by PiC Entertainment, DiC Entertainment, which was absorbed into the Cookie Jar Group in 2008, which was acquired by DHX Media five years later, and CBS Productions, which became CBS Paramount Television in the fall of 2006, and CBS Television Studios three years later.

Paramount Pictures announced on August 1, 2014 that a film adaptation of Portland is in the works for a May 20, 2016 release. Drew Pearce has also been hired to write the script.
